Undergraduate Work Term Checklist


End of Term Evaluation

Two evaluations are required for each 4-month work term: a student evaluation of the work term and an employer evaluation of the student’s performance. The performance evaluation will count as 50% of the student’s work term grade; the other half reflects the student’s work term assignment grade.

Log in to PD Portal to complete the evaluation found in the work term record.
The individual listed as “Supervisor” under the student’s work term detail contact information will receive an email prompting them to complete the performance evaluation online. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure the performance evaluation is completed BEFORE the end of each 4-month work term. If the employer cannot access the online evaluation, please contact the Co-op office or they may submit a paper version to eng.coop@ubc.ca.

Students need to complete the Student Work Term Evaluation online in PD Portal by the following dates:
Summer term: September 3rd, 2019
Fall term: January 4th, 2019
Winter term: May 3rd, 2019

Students must ensure the Student Performance Evaluation is completed by the work term supervisor BEFORE the last day of the 4-month work term.
